Coach Adrian Gallegos was born in Salinas, California and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He attended Sacramento State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in
Ethnic Studies (Education). He then went on to Concordia University where he received
his Master’s degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration.
During his studies, his love for the game of football led him to coach at various
schools including Alisal High School (2014 - 2016), Gavilan College (2017), and Monterey
Peninsula College (2018) under former head coach Mike Rasmussen. After finishing his
Master’s degree he went back to his Alma Mater, Sacramento State, and worked under
Troy Taylor (current Stanford Football head coach) for 4 years (2019 - 2022) in various
roles such as the Offensive and Defensive Graduate Assistant, Quality Control Coach,
and Special Teams Assistant/Analyst. In Coach Gallegos' four years at Sacramento State,
they won the Big Sky championship every season and were ranked as high as #2 in the
nation for FCS football.
Adrian then decided he wanted a chance to run his own offense and was led back to MPC where he met former head coach Ronnie Palmer. Adrian became the Offensive Coordinator in 2023 & 2024 where he ran the number one offense in the conference both years. His offense was also ranked #2 in the state in 2024 averaging 45 points per game which is also an MPC record. Adrian has helped lead 6 offensive players to Division 1 schools in the past 2 years as well as getting scholarships for other offensive players at various colleges.
