Women's Sports

MPC offers six intercollegiate athletic teams for women — Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Softball, Track & Field, and Beach Volleyball. MPC is a member of the California Community College Athletic Association which governs community college athletics throughout the State of California.

Student Eligibility

California Community College Commission on Athletics (3C2A) states that a student must be actively enrolled in 12 units at the time of participation. A student who comes directly from high school is immediately eligible for varsity competition. To be eligible for a second season of sport, the student athlete must complete and pass 24 units with a 2.0 GPA prior to the next season.
